Get to Know Brightmetrics™

In the spirit of the holidays, we wanted to take the time to thank our Brightmetrics customers, their teams, and partners for a wonderful 2017 year.

We hope that Brightmetrics continues to provide you essential reporting and analytics insights for many years to come. In conjunction with sharing how appreciative we are for you, we wanted to say how grateful we are for our team who makes Brightmetrics all that it is today by giving each of our employees a moment in the spotlight.


But first, a little bit about us:

  • We have a very small team of 10 highly- talented individuals.
  • Most of us work in our Headquarters in Petaluma, California while others reside in New York, Illinois, and Panama.
  • We do our best to eat lunch together every day and go out to eat wings & play trivia on Thursdays.
  • We all wear many hats in our positions, but we try to split our organization into 4 groups.


Support Team:

These are the people that teach you “how-tos”, fix any issues, and answer general questions at They are dedicated to helping all users and their teams continue to learn about Brightmetrics and become masters of reporting and analytics.


Michele: Support Engineering Manager

Michele has been speed skating since she was two years old and now shares that hobby with her son who loves it as much as she does. She is also very passionate about shoe shopping and likes to exercise this interest as often as possible.



Andrea: Application Support Engineer

Andrea is a nature lover and spends all of her free time with her family camping and hiking all over the East Coast.  When she's not camping or working for Brightmetrics, she's assisting with the family business of teardrop camper building.


Gabe: Support and Documentation Specialist

Gabe is extremely well-rounded. He is a dedicated gardener, is in the midst of writing four books and is an experienced lock picker.




Customer & Channel Success Team:

This team takes care of both partner and customer needs. Their job is to maximize the value that end-users, their companies, and channel partners get from their relationship with Brightmetrics.



Matt: EVP Customer Success

You’ll typically find Matt with his family scrambling through all sorts of activities including playing baseball, riding horseback, playing piano, swimming, and competing in ping-pong games.



Peter: Director of Channel Success

Peter’s interests include watching his young daughters grow up with his wife, playing the piano for his family and church/community, and being utterly addicted to Crossfit.



Rosy: Channel Marketing Coordinator

Rosy is her best self when she is either walking her dogs, reading books that make her ugly-cry, planning her next trip abroad, or napping.




Product and Development Team:

This team manages Brightmetrics as a platform for ShoreTel/Mitel reporting & analytics, and ultimately for deriving ways for customers to get better business decisions from phone system and contact center data.



Alan: Software Developer/Engineer

Alan is into bowling, all sorts of sports, and movies. This is no joke- ask him about any movie, he’s probably seen it and has a thoroughly-developed opinion about it.




David: Software Developer

David enjoys going to small, unknown restaurants before they become mainstream with his wife and son. Since he and his family move a lot, they cherish spending time at home, too.




Andrew and Jim have worked together for many years on various projects at different companies. They created Brightmetrics when they noticed the need for better insights from ShoreTel/Mitel phone systems.



Jim: CEO

Jim’s favorite places are Lake Tahoe, CA and Kauai, HI. When he’s not a at work, he’s either golfing or enjoying time with his family, but never both at the same time.



Andrew: CTO

Andrew is usually with his kids reading books, riding scooters, and pillow fighting when he’s not at the office. When he’s not with working or with his family, he’s learning more about programming.
